ABOUT YOUR COACH
Josh Smith
I first started my venture into the world of fitness in 2012. I was always the chubby kid, I was tired of it and determined to do something about it. I ate next to nothing and spent hours per day on the treadmill. It worked for some time, but I eventually stalled out and couldn't make any more progress despite how hard I tried, along with now looking too skinny and still unhappy with my physique. It was at this point that I decided I needed to learn how to do things properly.
Since then, I've spent countless hours researching all things health and fitness and applying them to myself to see what really works the best. I have a vast knowledge of how to do anything fitness related from losing body fat to gaining muscle, and getting stronger, fitter and healthier, because I've done it all myself.
I've been overweight with very little muscle mass, rail-thin with very little muscle mass, overweight with some added muscle mass, very lean and muscular, and finally in a good body composition with a healthy amount of body fat and above average levels of muscle mass. I've done it all so I have an understanding of whatever position you're in right now because I've been there myself, which is not something a lot of coaches can say.
With the above in mind, I made the decision to turn my passion into a career by helping others to achieve their fitness goals in the same way I have and still continue to achieve my own, with a knowledge and understanding of exactly where you are because I've been there before myself.
